The Lafayettes are a vocal trio who bring a New-town Motown vibe to the stage. From Detroit, the ladies are inspired by classic girl groups like The Supremes and The Ikettes.
Together with the band, the Bus Stop Poets, a typical show includes a variety of music including classic Motown, New-town (a term coined by the band to describe their own Motown twist on more modern cover songs), and original songs.
The Lafayettes are also available to complement other bands for shows or studio recordings, and to sing as an
a cappella trio.
Since 2016, the Lafayettes (together with the Bus Stop Poets) have also performed a spectacular Christmas show.
