Lish

Cindee Lish founded The Lafayettes when she noticed a lack of true, female vocal groups in her hometown of Detroit and wanted to bring a modern Motown girl group back to the city.  Lish, as she is known professionally, has been an active member of the entertainment community for over 20 years as a vocalist, dancer and actress.  She got her start doing both musical theatre and dramatic productions as a child and hasn’t looked back since.  Lish is well known for her dynamic stage presence and in addition to fronting The Lafayettes, has worked as a lead and backing vocalist with Detroit area bands such as The Square Pegz, The Mega 80’s, The Dan Rafferty Band, Danny D and the Vagabonds, Elsie Binx, Moose and Da Sharks and Rio & The Rockabilly Revival.  When she isn’t entertaining the masses from stage, Lish can often be found in the studio as a session vocalist or doing voice over work for television and radio commercials.  She has been known to sleep, but not often.
